They eventually formed a truce and decided to help one another get closer to their crushes. One time, Ryuuji discovers that Taiga has a crush on his best friend Kitamura while Taiga also finds out that Ryuuji has a crush on Minori who is her friend. In fact, Taiga is known in the school as “Palmtop Tiger” (手乗りタイガ – Te Nori Taiga) due to her small appearance and ferocious personality. Taiga is hot tempered and views a lot of people with distaste and even towards Ryuuji after their first meeting. To make matters worse, she is a good friend of Kushieda Minori. Things became more interesting though when he accidentally bumps into “The school’s most dangerous animal having the highest risk level” – Aisaka Taiga - who also happens to be in the same class. On the brighter side of things, he will be in the same class as well as his best friend Kitamura Yusaku and Kushieda Minori whom he has a crush on for a very long time.
Because of his eyes, people tend to shun him and often get the impression that he is a delinquent not knowing that he has a gentle personality. Takasu Ryuuji is a second year high school student who is having a difficult time fitting in due to his intimidating eyes. Hayate no Gotoku and even Shakugan no Shana has a bit of similar elements even though the genre may be far off.
